Wage: The hourly rate for this position is $24.30 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Schedule: Availability from 2p-onwards required, including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

• Previous banquet or set up experience a plus

What will I be doing?

A Houseperson is responsible for supporting Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring cleanliness of all areas and maintaining equipment. Responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Physically push/Pull/Lift at least 50-75- pounds Daily
• Construct/ Deconstruct meeting spaces based on event diagrams in a timely manner
• Ensure the satisfaction of guests by leaving the meeting spaces ready for their events
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet, meeting and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards
• Cleaning includes, but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, cleaning/waxing floors, removing trash, stocking and maintaining supply rooms, reporting maintenance deficiencies for repair/replacement and cleaning and removing spots, insects and debris
• Able to lift and Push Banquet Equipment some examples but not limited to: Tables, Chairs, Ladders, Stages, Backdrops
• Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects
• Project a professional manner to guests and team members
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
