Junior Accountant
Reports To: Controller

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed
Pay Range: $26-30/hour (Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications in line with company pay practices). Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced environment. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
- Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and payment preparation
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Support accounts receivable and cash application activities as needed
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
- Assist with vendor setup and maintenance
- Help track accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
- Prepare reports and schedules for audits and management review
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
- Support special projects and other accounting duties as assigned
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
- Experience with reconciliations and journal entries
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Acumatica is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crouch for extended periods
- Exposure to warehouse environment conditions (noise, dust, moving equipment, temperature fluctuations)
