Staff Accountant II - AP

Empire Technological Group Limited dba Aruze Gaming Global is looking to add a Staff Accountant II - AP to our team!
Las Vegas

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up vendors in the accounts payable system.
• Review and process invoices from suppliers and vendors for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify that invoices match purchase orders and receiving documents and/or contractual agreements.
• Code to proper GL and department accounts and enter invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Prepare and process supplier and vendor payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
• Ensure payments are made on time while maximizing early payment discounts and managing cash flow.
• Process expense reports (Concur, Paylocity) and other related tasks as delegated.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, promptly addressing any inquiries or discrepancies.
• Record and manage accruals and prepayments to accurately reflect the company's financial position.
• Assist in a number of ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve and streamline processes.
• Other duties as requested and /or assigned.

Skills / Abilities:

• College level accounting classes or Accounting Degree Preferred.
• 2-5 years of AP current experience in the gaming industry and/or technology or manufacturing industry, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different target audiences.
• Experience in SAGE, or other ERP systems is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Team player, with strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Moderate to Advanced excel skills required.
