Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management and experience specifically with Nissan, CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram),Subaru or Mazda brands. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a high-performing sales team and contribute to the dealership’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve daily, monthly, and annual unit sales and gross profit targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive customer engagement and vehicle sales.
- Set individual and team goals for CRM utilization, closing rates, prospecting, and overall performance.
- Conduct daily sales meetings to review results, set objectives, and motivate the team.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to sales consultants to enhance skills and productivity.
- Oversee the effective display and merchandising of new and used vehicles.
- Work closely with the finance department to maximize F&I performance and ensure seamless transactions.
- Assist sales consultants in closing deals to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels, analyzing customer demand and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to automotive sales.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Sales Manager, with specific experience in managing sales for Nissan, CDJR, or Mazda brands.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and dealership management systems.
- Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to make informed decisions.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure sales department achieves targeted levels of gross and net profit.
- Ensure sales personnel are well trained, motivated and operate within process.
- Oversee & Manage Sales Floor manager and their tasks & responsibilities.
- Maintain daily sales reporting on: all product sold, gross profit, staff measurements, etc.
- Establish goals & targets daily, weekly, monthly.
- Initiate and maintain net profit objectives which eliminate the possibility of “lower than anticipated” profits.
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of computer systems required for sales management.
- Establish procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
- Maintain showroom vehicles which draw customers and keeps automobiles functioning as designed.
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process.
- Build rapport with customers to establish customer network.
- Manage the new vehicle inventory including ordering and dealer trades.
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals.
- Help manage all other aspects of the sales department.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years sales management experience with Nissan, CDJR,Subaru or Mazda brand preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of inventory control
- Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM)

- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
