POSITION: Medical Front Office (MRI Overnight)
Schedule: M-F, overnight 10pm-4a (Full time)
JOB SUMMARY: Answers calls using a multi-line telephone system. Performs patient scheduling as well as patient check-in/out. Provides the highest level of patient care.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma- Completion of technical program preferred
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients
- Experience with a high volume office and phone system
- Ability to prioritize work flow in a fast-paced medical environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls
- Screening patient information
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Patient check-in/out
- Insurance authorizations
- Miscellaneous office duties as assigned
Typical Physical Demands
Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

Normal office working environment.
Compensation: $21-$25/hr
