Inspector
QC Inspector - 50-60 Hour Weeks
Job Description
Join a leading company in the aerospace industry that specializes in manufacturing fiber optic connectors and cable harnesses. We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Inspector with a minimum of six months of mechanical inspection experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspection of parts and sub-assemblies.
- Work with tolerances of +/- .005.
- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, customer specifications, planning documents, and requirements to determine the inspection process.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Utilize pin gauges and thread gauges in inspections.
- Record inspection results on appropriate forms and input data into the computer system for decision-making on final disposition of discrepant parts.
Essential Skills
- At least 1+ year of inspection experience within a machine shop setting.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and pin gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Experience with tolerances of +/- 0.005.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace or mechanical industries.
- Experience with aluminum machine parts is preferable.
- Bilingual in Vietnamese is preferred.
- Job shop experience is a must.

Work Environment
This role is based in a clean and well-maintained aerospace manufacturing environment, employing over 150 staff members. The position requires working within an ITAR environment, with a shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6am to 4:30pm, and Saturdays from 6am to noon, totaling 56 hours per week. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, though steel-toe shoes are not required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
