Job Title: Marketing Brand and Content Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Brand and Content Specialist to lead the development, strengthening, and execution of our clients brand identity and content strategy. This role requires a customer-centric mindset and a strong understanding of market trends to enhance brand positioning and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in brand management, content creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Brand Building:
- Lead efforts to develop, strengthen, and elevate the company's brand identity, value proposition, and recognition in alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Create and enforce brand messaging guidelines and manage the use of trademarks.
- Partner with product managers to establish product-line branding, messaging guidelines, and content strategy.
- Review marketing materials to ensure alignment with key brand elements and consistency in messaging.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to enhance brand presence and content effectiveness.
Content Development:
- Develop engaging, consistent content and sales tools in collaboration with product managers and specialists.
- Create content including but not limited to press releases, product launch packages, landing pages, email campaigns, marketing toolkits, ad promotions, and sales and clinical materials.
- Manage relationships with agencies and designers to develop collateral supporting marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of new images and videos with photographers and videographers for product launches.
Process Management:
- Develop and manage an annual content plan for product launches, supporting the go-to-market strategy.
- Schedule meetings, maintain timelines, and manage expectations for content creation and approval.
- Oversee the content review process, ensuring efficiency in approval timelines and improving the workflow for content developers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree/MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in the medical device industry or relevant field.
- 3 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Experience in brand development and media, particularly in the medical device industry, is preferred.
- Proficiency in design and layout is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
