Bookkeeper for a Marketing Firm in the US (Home Based Full Time)

• Report directly to the CEO and CFO of both entities

<\/div>

• Ensure financial operations, accounting, and financial reporting are sound, GAAP\-compliant, accurate, and current

<\/div>

• Maintain meticulous and timely financial and book management

<\/div>

• Manage Accounts Payable across multiple work queues (email, Xero, Dext, Slack, and other intake sources)

<\/div>

• Manage relevant email inboxes, Slack, Dext, and other work channels to capture all AP activity

<\/div>

• Record Accounts Payable in Xero accurately and in a timely manner

<\/div>

• Ensure payments are made on or before due dates

<\/div>

• Notify stakeholders when payments are completed

<\/div>

• Attribute bills and payments to the correct expense categories and project P&Ls

<\/div>

• Review and properly code agency team expense claims

<\/div>

• Review and code monthly credit card statements to ensure all expenses are fully represented in the P&L

<\/div>

• Produce client invoices in close coordination with the CFO

<\/div>

• Distribute dunning notices in a timely manner in coordination with the CFO

<\/div>

• Perform monthly financial close, including: Bank reconciliations, Credit card reconciliations, Full accounting of Wise transactions, Accounting and reconciliation of inter\-company loans, Journal entries, as appropriate

<\/div>

• Maintain consistent triple\-statement hygiene (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

<\/div>

• Support historical financial cleanup in coordination with the CFO

<\/div>

• Support tax preparation, including adjusting journal entries as directed by the CFO and external accountants

<\/div>

• Provide additional reporting as requested

<\/div>

• Coordinate with additional financial resources, when present

<\/div>

• Perform additional duties as assigned
