About the Role
We are looking for a senior software engineer to focus on building and maintaining core features within the ChatGPT Android app. In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain essential Android experiences by collaborating closely with product, design, and research teams to deliver intuitive and impactful features that enhance the ChatGPT experience for mobile users.

• Drive foundational improvements in the Android app, including optimizing performance, establishing robust testing frameworks, refining app architecture, and integrating cutting-edge Android platform capabilities.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive and seamless delivery of core features and architectural enhancements across teams and stakeholders.

• Prioritize quality and user satisfaction by focusing on performance, reliability, and responsiveness, ensuring a delightful experience for ChatGPT Android users.

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction, guiding the Android engineering team to align with company goals and deliver high-impact solutions.

• Build and nurture strong relationships cross-functionally across engineering, product, and executive teams to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and drive successful outcomes.

• Foster an inclusive and innovative culture where diverse perspectives are valued, and constructive feedback drives better outcomes.
