You love thinking big, while being excellent at driving results. The ambiguity in our space is high and we're partnering with multiple teams across AWS and Amazon. We're looking for a seasoned product leader with a track record of making high judgment decisions with limited information, influencing outcomes across the organization, staying close to details, and anticipating roadblocks. Key job responsibilities - Define Product Strategy and Vision: Drive product strategy by engaging directly with internal customers to understand their goals and challenges. Develop and articulate a compelling product vision, long-term roadmap, and working backwards documents (PR/FAQ) informed by customer feedback, competitive analysis, and business metrics. Establish product tenets and innovation priorities that align with broader organizational objectives. - Lead Cross-Functional Product Development and Execution: Own end-to-end product planning and development, translating customer goals into detailed business requirements and feature specifications. Partner closely with engineering & applied science teams to make strategic tradeoffs, define technical priorities, and ensure implementation aligns with product goals. Partner with GTM teams to lead comprehensive product launches that deliver on customer objectives, monitoring product performance, customer feedback, and adoption metrics on an ongoing basis. - Influence Leadership Across the Organization: Influence senior leaders across AWS by effectively communicating product vision, strategy, status, and customer impact. Present business performance through regular reporting cadences, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and resource allocation. Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience - 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience - 7+ years of successful technology products work from ideation through launch experience - Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market) Preferred Qualifications - Track record of incubating and scaling new products/services (0 to 1) - Experience with building AI-powered products and user experiences Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
