Overview

OWL Services is hiring Traveling Fuel Technician Apprentices to work hands-on in the field servicing fuel stations. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with their hands, do not mind being on the road, and are looking for steady work with strong overtime potential and advancement opportunities.

This is an apprentice-style role with on-the-job training provided . Mechanical experience is helpful, but not required for someone who is willing to learn. The role is heavily travel-based, with work performed across multiple states and extended time on the road.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate fuel pumps to ensure customers receive the correct amount of fuel
• Perform minor maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment
• Set up tools and equipment at active job sites
• Use basic technology such as a tablet or phone to record and document work
• Drive a company truck to and from job locations
• Travel extensively to support projects in multiple states
• Work hands-on in the field servicing fuel station equipment
• Follow instructions closely while completing assigned technical and field tasks

Requirements

Must Have:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel up to 85% of the time (including extended trips)
• Comfortable lifting 10–50 lbs and performing physical tasks (kneeling, bending, standing)
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Basic phone/tablet proficiency
• Ability to pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen

• Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools
