Manufacturing Solutions Account Executive — CNC Systems

You’re a door-opener who loves turning complex manufacturing challenges into elegant, profitable CNC solutions. In this role, you’ll own a Bay Area–centric territory, make the strategic calls that shape your market, and be rewarded through a compensation plan tightly linked to your results.
Picture this
On Monday, you cold-call into a precision shop and uncover a need for a 2–4 axis lathe. Tuesday, you run a discovery session that reveals an automation opportunity to boost throughput. By Wednesday, you’ve partnered with our technical team to scope the solution, updated Salesforce.com, and tuned pricing to manage profitability—all while refining your 30-60-90 day forecast. That blend of autonomy, breadth, and support is the heartbeat of this role.

What you’ll own
- Pipeline creation via cold calling and multi-channel outreach.
- Profitability management across quotes and deals.
- Retention and expansion of current customers while acquiring new customers to hit stated sales goals.
- Accurate, electronic 30-60-90 day forecasting.
- Adherence to the Ellison Technologies sales training program.
- Consistent, timely updates in Salesforce.com.
Backgrounds that fit
- Track record in territorial sales; machine cutting tool experience strongly valued.
- Candidates with tooling, fixturing, or CNC programming experience seeking to break into outside sales are welcome.
- Successful B2B territory sellers with the appetite to learn sophisticated equipment.
- Hunter mentality: get through doors, teach prospects about their own operations, and propose creative, value-added solutions.
- Bilingual in Vietnamese is highly preferred.
