Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Bachelor‘s/Master‘s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, active California Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. (Client may require BLS on file.)
• Experience treating outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting. Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Familiarity with common outpatient modalities and therapeutic exercise programs, documentation systems, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to work M-F schedule with typical clinic hours and a 1-hour lunch break as noted by client scheduling preferences.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and current state license listed in client order notes. These items are required to begin the assignment.
• Preferred: Previous travel therapy experience or experience working in fast-paced outpatient clinics.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch.
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Patient Focus: Outpatient orthopedic caseload treating musculoskeletal injuries.
