Service Advisor – Fremont Auto Center (Fremont, CA)

Fremont Auto Center is a well-established independent repair shop built on honesty, transparency, and consistent processes. We’re looking for a professional and organized Service Advisor to join our team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and document vehicle concerns clearly.
• Create and manage repair orders with accurate customer and vehicle info (VIN required).
• Prepare and present estimates (including parts, labor, and sublet services).
• Communicate repair recommendations with honesty and clarity.
• Schedule and dispatch work to technicians.
• Monitor job progress and keep customers updated.
• Review inspections and ensure required photos are complete.
• Track and follow up on declined repairs/services.
• Finalize invoices and process payments.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, honest, and team-oriented.
• Automotive experience is a plus (willing to train the right person).
