Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Overtime: As production mandates

Job Overview

A worldwide dietary supplement manufacturer is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our manufacturing warehouse in the Lake Forest, CA area. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, compliance, and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

This position involves exposure to dust, powders, airborne particles, strong food odors, and allergens including milk, soy, wheat, and nuts.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform sampling of components, in-process materials, and finished goods
• Conduct physical testing and evaluations
• Arrange and maintain reserve samples
• Read, understand, and follow work orders
• Follow and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ensure products meet customer and quality specifications
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
• Perform hands-on quality assurance tasks
• Use measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and production standards
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance experience
• Knowledge and understanding of quality compliance standards
• Working knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
• Familiarity with QA/QC regulations in the food, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
• Strong understanding of testing techniques
• Ability to problem-solve efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of safe work practices, including PPE use, allergen control, and proper sample handling and disposal
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
