C++ Embedded Developer
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Sacramento, CA (McClellan AFB )
Type/Duration: 3-month contract to hire
Required Qualifications:
· Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution with 8-10 years of experience
· At least 6-10 years of experience, Full stack software development experience with strength in C++ development across Unix/Linux environments, preference for Agile.
· Prefer TS/SCI CLEARANCE, but will consider those able to obtain.
· US CITIZENS ONLY (no dual citizenship)
Extensive experience:
· Developing software on diverse platforms including Unix, Linux and Windows based operating systems
· C and C++
· Developing embedded applications
· Developing applications through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing) utilizing a variety of software development tools
Experience using/with:
· Agile Scrum methodology
· Secure coding practices
· Scripting languages - Python, any Unix Shell script, etc
· Distributed processing and data analytics Integration of your products and others into a complete system
· Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
· Currently hold an active Top Secret Clearance
· Experience with: Hardware Integration VxWorks 5.5.1 and 6.x on PowerPC, Intel, and ARM Mercury OS/MCOE 6.4
· Radar or signal processing experience would be a plus also
