Finance Administrative Assistant

Van Der Hout LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Finance Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this role, you'll be supporting our finance team with various administrative and accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your fluency in Spanish will be key in helping us serve our diverse clientele, ensuring clear communication and efficient service across all levels of our practice.

This position is in-office and requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities. You will be a critical part of our finance team, helping streamline processes and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Record cash receipts, make bank deposits, post payments to accounts receivable, and issue invoices to customers, ensuring that receivables are collected promptly.
• Print checks and assist with vendor payments.
• Respond timely to inquiries from vendors, customers, or employees, and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Perform data entry and assist with administrative finance-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of financial, billing, or accounting support experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
• Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Proficient or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
