Licensed Clinical Social Worker / LCSW
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provide assessments.
- Make referrals.
- Conduct individual and group counseling.
- Provide education and support for clients and families.
- Screen for clients for eligibility.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations resulting in a DSM V diagnosis.
- Develop diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans for clients including delivery of appropriate services as defined by a detailed treatment plan.
- May provide consultation for chemical dependency problems, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.
- May provide clinical review of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
- Can act as program coordinator; design program services and coordinate activities with assigned staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
- M.A. degree plus two years’ experience and an additional two years of supervisory or program management or maintain clinical licensure for the appropriate state in which work is performed.
- Difficult cases and crisis management experience are emphasized.
- Ability to provide clinical oversight.
- May review work of others and/or supervision of others.
- Must pass a background check.
