VA Full time, Project based, Japan focus (with potential to grow)

We're a digital media company focused on Japanese tea culture and cooking. We sell premium Japanese tea, publish educational content, and create resources for people passionate about Japanese food and culture.

The Role

Primary focus (60-70% of your time):

Final proof AI-generated blog content for quality, clarity, and SEO

Publish 10-20 posts/week across our WordPress sites

Build and manage email marketing campaigns and automation

Optimize existing content for SEO performance

Secondary projects (30-40%):

Amazon product descriptions and A+ content updates

YouTube video scheduling and community management

WordPress site maintenance and updates

Kajabi platform publishing and updates

WooCommerce product management

Social media scheduling support

What you won't do: Write from scratch. AI does the heavy lifting, you polish and publish.

Your First 90 Days

Month 1: Learn our systems, publish 5-7 posts/week with feedback, shadow current VA

Month 2: Publish 10-15 posts/week independently, build first email sequence

Month 3: Full ownership of content + email, begin secondary projects based on your strengths

You'll grow and learn continuously as systems improve.

What We're Looking For

✅ 2-3 years VA experience (content, WordPress, or email focus)

✅ WordPress proficiency (Gutenberg) - not just basic publishing

✅ Comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)

✅ Independent worker who Googles before asking

✅ Strong English writing/editing skills

✅ Available 30-40 hours/week, flexible schedule

Nice to have: Email automation ( Omnisend, Kajabi), SEO basics, WooCommerce, Japan interest

How We Work

Communication: Async via Asana.

Management style: I give you tasks and context, you figure out how. Ask questions when stuck, otherwise you own it.
