Skilled Bookkeeper

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in the accounting department. As a bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Responsibilities - Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute invoices to clients and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain and manage inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of all products and assets.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and guidelines.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
