Custodian Supervisor II
Job Description and Duties
Under general supervision of the Supervisor I, of the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Section, the Custodian Supervisor II (CS II) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the cleaning and janitorial work at the California State Lottery Headquarters Complex, District Offices, Regional Warehouses and other sites as designated by the Supervisor I.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento. This position is not eligible for telework.

Working Conditions
a. Schedule: Typical work times are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility depending on operations. May need to work outside of typical work times as job conditions require. This position may be required to carry a Lottery issued cell phone and be reachable outside of normal business hours.
b. Travel: Up to 5% may be required

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- General knowledge of custodial cleaning methods.
- General knowledge of commercial cleaning, standards and regulations.
- Experience with customer service in a technical application.
- Experience with operation and use of common custodial equipment: extractors, buffers, restroom cleaning machines, etc.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Computer Skills.
- Administrative Skills.
- Procurement experience.
