Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist

Summary: Opolo Wines LP is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist, focusing on winery operations, reservations, and customer service. This role is scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, catering to visitors looking to experience our vineyard firsthand. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with people and providing excellent customer service in a warm, professional winery setting.

Compensation

• $18 - $20 per hour

To be successful in the role, the best-fit candidate must have the following skills and attributes:

Essential Functions:

• Answer phones, screen and direct calls, and respond to emails promptly
• Assist guests in making reservations to visit the winery and provide detailed information about our vineyard offerings
• Take and relay accurate messages to the appropriate parties
• Organize and file completed paperwork for easy access and reference
• Support overall operations by assisting in coordinating guest experiences and managing the front desk efficiently

Working Conditions:

• Part-time (16 hours) schedule to include weekends and holidays
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods
• Maintain excellent customer service in a busy office environment with high foot traffic
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (case of wine) when necessary

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Proficient in administrative and clerical procedures
• Knowledge of computer systems and software (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to learn winery-specific software (Tock, Commerce 7)
• Understanding of customer service principles and best practices
• Strong multitasking abilities and willingness to work collaboratively with the team
• Commitment to keeping sensitive information confidential to protect the organization's value
