SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for daily receiving and entering invoices from vendors and in house clients into our computer systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling accounts. verification of Federal ID numbers.


• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.


• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.


• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.


• Other related duties assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.


• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.


• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.


• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.


• Experience with NetSuite required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.


• High school diploma required, A degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Proven experience working in accounts payable or bookkeeping roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Competitive salary range $25-30 hourly depending on experience.
