Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Construction

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex healthcare construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects from planning through closeout. This is an opportunity to lead high-profile projects, mentor project teams, build strong client relationships, and drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead healthcare construction, renovation, and capital projects from concept through completion

  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk throughout the project lifecycle

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, contractors, and key stakeholders

  • Oversee architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

  • Develop project execution plans, RFPs, RFQs, contracts, and change orders

  • Track project performance, identify risks, and implement solutions before they impact delivery

  • Lead project meetings, communicate progress to executive leadership, and maintain accurate project documentation

  • Mentor and support project managers while promoting best practices across the project team

  • Ensure projects comply with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and applicable building codes

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7+ years of experience managing large healthcare construction or capital projects

  • Proven success delivering projects from planning through occupancy

  • Strong experience with budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiations, procurement, and change management

  • Knowledge of California healthcare construction requirements, including OSHPD/HCAI, JCAHO, ADA, and applicable state and local regulations

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with executives, clients, contractors, architects, and engineers

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred
