Production Scheduling Coordinator
:
The Senior Production Scheduler, under limited supervision, controls all finished stock received from manufacturing, engineering and in-process. Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Controls all finished stock received from manufacturing, engineering, and in-process stock
- Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows
- Performs computer entry of all work orders and running of shippers per customer requirement
- Conducts Quality Control inspection on all non-customer source products prior to shipment
- Prepares and packages all products for shipment, following standard commercial packaging procedure
- Coordinates required documentation with Export Compliance on all international and ITAR shipments.
- Facilitates all finished goods and prepares the literature, and inter-company parts shipments, and performs monthly cycle counts of the stockroom.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years Experience: Min 5 years of relevant experience; aerospace or engineering manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of MRP/MRPII and Basic CRD skills
- Solid experience in production control or order scheduling, as well as standard commercial packaging procedures
- Selects and uses applicable methods, procedures and standards to meet targets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Computer proficient, including Microsoft Windows software application
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $20-$30/hour
