Senior QA Engineer - Walnut Creek, CA
Title – SR. QA Engineer
Position – Contract (3-6 Months)
Location – Walnut Creek, CA
Rate- $Open (Best Possible)
Required Skills and Duties:
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Adapt in an agile environment with rapidly changing requirements.
- Hands-on experience working with Protractor, Selenium and JavaScript.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) using Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery (CD) and Automated Testing (GUI and backend).
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI etc.
- Experience with database concepts and the ability to analyze and write SQL queries.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Provide team leadership and influence application vision
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with QA processes and methodologies.
- Experience working in a Financial Services or Banking/ Brokerage / Investment industry is a big plus.
