Join us as we push the boundaries of technology and innovation, delivering significant value across our portfolio while making a profound impact on the industries we serve.
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Integration & Engineering team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize the data infrastructure that underpins AI capabilities across the organization. You’ll ensure our data products are scalable, reusable, and aligned with the company’s broader strategic goals—enabling faster delivery of AI-driven solutions and better business decisions.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources, drive the development of production-grade pipelines, and uphold high standards for data quality, governance, and compliance. Your work will directly influence flagship initiatives, helping the company stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
What you'll work on:
- Designing and implementing scalable, reliable data pipelines and integrations to support AI and analytics use cases.
- Developing reusable patterns and frameworks to accelerate delivery across multiple teams.
- Partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-impact data solutions aligned with key priorities.
- Improving and maturing data infrastructure, tools, and processes to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Ensuring strong data governance—maintaining quality, security, and compliance across all systems.
- Help evaluate and adopt tools and platforms that enhance business outcomes like cost efficiency, revenue growth, and operational speed.
- 5+ years experience in data engineering, integration, and infrastructure at scale, preferably in financial services environments.
- Proven success building robust, production-ready data systems in AI/ML or data-driven environments.
- Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, including pipeline monitoring, versioning, and governance.
- Experience collaborating across functions and influencing stakeholders in both technical and non-technical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Experience leading or contributing to large-scale AI or ML data infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, or similar).
- A record of driving measurable business impact through data solutions.
- Master’s degree or advanced coursework in Data Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
Compensation:
The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,000-190,000. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package.
Position Location:
This position will work out of the TWG office on a hybrid schedule in Santa Monica, CA. Consideration for a different working location will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
TWG is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
