Senior Cloud Disaster Recovery Architect
Request ID: 68481-1 Shortlisting on 02/11 Start/End Dates: 2/19/2026 - 12/31/2026 Tax Work Location: US - CA - Sunnyvale (940890) Job Title: Technical Project/Program Management - Technical Project Manager V Req Highlights 7+ years relevant experience; nice to have depth in cloud architecture, product/security, and hands on AI tooling (e.g., Copilot/Codeium) or DL/agentic workflows. Possess applied AI/ML familiarity for business process optimization (not purely theoretical), plus comfort with SDLC and project/issue tracking tools This role requires the TPM to drive system architecture and technical design discussions in infrastructure and security something far more technical than a standard TPM. This is closer to a Technical Program Manager with strong infra + AI systems background, not a standard PM who manages timelines. It requires someone who can think and operate like an architect, understand AI/ML, and lead deeply technical cross functional programs.
Summary: The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
- Manage backup, security and user help system.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions.
- Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.
- Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- Must have Skills: 7+ years of experience in technology program management focused on software, or related experience in working on development infrastructure and tools.
- Experience leading medium/large scale technology solution implementation, specifically within automation, AI, or advanced system infrastructure domains.
- Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
- Knowledge with project and issue tracking systems.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with analytical and complex problem-solving experience.
- Track record of operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
- Experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application to business process optimization.
- Experience in Cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience working on AI-coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codeium).
- Hands-on experience working in Deep Learning / Neural Networks, and Agentic workflows.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with data visualization tools.
- Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm.
Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects:
Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of OpenKyber's community support processes, products, and policies. Drive system design discussions in the Infrastructure and Security domains. Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automation and efficiency gains. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of technology solutions. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery. Architect end-to-end automation solutions, leading technical design discussions and ensuring technical scalability, robustness, and compliance with OpenKyber standards. Use problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems. Analyze complex support flows and provide recommendations for process, policy, and product improvements. Track, analyze, and report on key operational metrics and business impact of automation initiatives to determine where to focus optimization efforts. Manage cross-functional programs covering a range of products across all lines of the business, driving cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners.
