Under the supervision of the Senior Engineer, you will contribute to engineering work related to water supply and demand analysis, water management, hydraulics, and hydrology. You will provide technical assistance to local water agencies and support regional coordination of water management activities in support of the California Water Plan, the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, drought and flood response, DWR’s tribal policy office, and other programs as needed.

This position requires competency with Microsoft products, good communication and interpersonal skills; and maintaining regular, consistent and predictable attendance. Experience with coding (such as python or R) and ArcGIS is a plus but not required.
