Art Coordinator
Join the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe as an Art Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the artistic potential of our club members. Under the guidance of the KB Clubhouse Manager, you will be responsible for implementing an engaging arts curriculum for our after-school program and summer camp. As a role model embodying our core values of honesty, respect, and responsibility, you will foster personal and meaningful relationships with members, volunteers, and program participants. Your contribution will be instrumental in creating a positive club environment that facilitates youth development outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement a wide-ranging art program plan for after-school and summer camp activities.
- Manage groups of students in the out-of-school time environment.
- Contribute to creating a positive Club environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes.
- Manage student conflict, problems, and emergencies, analyze situations, comprehend problems and draw reliable conclusion taking appropriate action without waiting for direction.
- Assist senior staff as necessary to ensure successful outcome of the Club’s operations and mission.
- Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including: Daily attendance incident reports, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing groups of students in an out-of-school environment.
- Ability to work in a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive manner.
- Professional appearance and customer-centered approach to work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of members, employees, and Club information.
- Adherence to all policies and procedures.
