Mill Operator

The operator uses a mill to convert raw materials into compounded rubber. Those compounded rubber materials are used to make Parco's products.

The operator performs these activities:

• Completes weekly time card

• Follows mixing schedule

• Follows safety rules

The operator may perform any of these operations:

• Dispenses polymer

• Dispenses filler

• Dispenses small ingredients

• Mixes material using a mill

• Mixes compound from internal mixer using a mill

• Prepares compound for storage after mixing

• Issues material to production

• Handles material returned from production (remill) to mixing

Experience Required

• Minimum experience: six months as a compounder.
• Must have a working knowledge of the mixing characteristics of Parco's Compounds.
• Minimum education: 12th grade or equivalent. Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

Physial Requirements

• Stands on concrete floor up to 10 hours.
• Lifts bales of polymer weighing up to 75 pounds.
