Senior Accountant - Remote | WFH

We're looking for experienced and passionate Senior Accountants to join our team! As a Senior Accountant, you'll serve as the main point of contact for our clients, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of their accounting needs. Your expertise in accounting principles and commitment to excellent customer service will play a key role in the successful management of our clients' monthly book closures.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

Handle full-cycle accounting tasks including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
Review and analyze financial data, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Client Interaction:

Build strong relationships with your assigned clients, acting as their primary contact for all accounting-related needs.
Gather necessary financial information from clients, resolve issues, and provide regular updates on the status of their books.
Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive experience and client satisfaction.

Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
Work with the management team to implement best practices, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to optimize operations.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and all relevant requirements.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support audits by providing the necessary documentation and assisting auditors as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience managing multiple clients' books, rather than focusing on just one business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and team members.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to resolve discrepancies and address accounting challenges.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to learn new systems is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with accounting regulations and compliance standards.
