Purpose of Role:
The Pilates School Facility Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the Pilates school facilities, contributing directly to the overall student and faculty experience. The Facility Coordinator is responsible for managing facility resources, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to support the school's mission of providing high-quality Pilates education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of the school facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair activities, liaising with external contractors as necessary.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation and inventory of facility resources, including Pilates equipment/props, standard exercise equipment, facility supplies and educational supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations, upkeep of the integrity of the Pilates springs and Classical Pilates equipment conducting regular inspections and audits.

- Operational Efficiency: Maintain a high level of operational efficiency, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Safety Standards: Achieve and maintain compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.

Technical Skills:
- Facility management software proficiency
- Basic maintenance and repair skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in facility management or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in facility management or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Certification in facility management is a plus.
- Preferred: experience personally/professionally in Classical Pilates studios
Working Conditions: This role is based in San Francisco with standard working hours. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to oversee special events or maintenance activities.
