ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST – CENTRAL VALLEY DISTRICT / SERVICE DRIVEN / COLUMBIA STATE HISTORIC PARK
The reporting location for this position is Columbia State Historic Park in Columbia, CA. This position will work under the direction of Senior Park & Recreation Specialist.
The Central Valley District is looking for a motivated individual to perform all duties required of a field concession specialist. The duties include program development and evaluation, and analytical and administrative work to identify and prove methods for meeting statewide concession and outdoor recreational needs. The duties require strong analytical abilities; good verbal and written communication skills; and an awareness of current social, political, and environmental problems and principles, particularly on the state and local level. The position may be assigned as a lead worker on a team with other staff of equivalent or lower classifications to work on specific major projects and some travel is required. The incumbent prepares Requests for Proposals, monitors contract compliance, assists in managing 25 concessions in Columbia SHP and other concessions within the Central Valley District. Performs annual concessions evaluations and monitors contract compliance.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
