JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on building scalable, high-performance data systems. In this role, you’ll design and automate data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and decision-making across our business. You’ll work hands-on with Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS to deliver clean, reliable, and well-modeled data — enabling teams to move faster and smarter.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver large-scale data efficiently.

• Develop and optimize data models and pipelines in Databricks and Snowflake for performance and cost efficiency.

• Implement and automate workflows using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, API Gateway).

• Write robust, scalable code in Python or Scala for data transformation and orchestration.

• Build and manage data quality and monitoring frameworks using Datadog and Airflow/Astronomer.

• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to define requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.

• Ensure high standards of data integrity, governance, and documentation across systems and projects.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, focusing on ETL development, data modeling, and automation.

• Proficiency in Databricks and Snowflake, including query optimization, workload management, and metadata design.

• Strong coding skills in Python or Scala for data processing and automation.

• Experience with key AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, S3).

• Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and alerting in data workflows.

• Working knowledge of Airflow or Astronomer for orchestration.

• Proven ability to build reliable, maintainable, and well-documented data systems.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• Experience in the digital advertising or media domain (e.g., ad delivery, identity graphs, campaign data).

• Knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).

• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience.
