Job Details

The Business Litigation Group handles complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts and domestic and international arbitration — representing publicly traded companies, closely held businesses, non-profits, and LLCs across construction, financial services, technology, media, real estate, transportation, oil and gas, and professional services.
What you'll work on:

• Complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and domestic and international arbitration
• Contract and lease disputes, shareholder disputes, corporate governance, and unfair competition matters
• Lender liability, fair credit reporting, real estate, and construction litigation
• Class action defense and complex multi-party commercial disputes
• Discovery management — drafting and arguing dispositive and procedural motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Arbitration and mediation proceedings — pre-arbitration strategy through award enforcement
• Legal research, briefs, memoranda, and substantive filings
• Direct client relationship development and case strategy ownership

Looking for:

• California Bar admission
• Commercial or business litigation experience
• Open to 2nd year to Of Counsel
