BACK OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Growing qualified Ophthalmology Office seeks dependable, friendly Back Office MedicalAssistant with excellent customer service to become an integral part of our Team.
SCHEDULE
M-F 08:30 am - 05:00 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets and directs all patients within the practice
- Checks patient vision
- Take basic patient history
- Entering Data into EMR
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Clean and stock exam rooms
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a High School diploma
- Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma
- Great opportunity for a candidate with no experience and willingness to learn.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service etiquette
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-starter and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
- Reliable
- Able to work collectively with administration and staff
- Team player and willingness to learn
