Responsibilities

The Lead Echo Tech is responsible for both supervisory and testing duties in the Cardiology department. The Lead Echo Tech shall perform at the level of an Echo Tech II and shall be able to perform transthoracic and transesophogeal echocardiograms, echos on neonates/pediatrics, as well as participate in the sonography portion of a dobutamine stress echo.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.Graduate of an accredited two (2) year Cardiovascular / Echo Program.
2.Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (AE) within 90 days from date of hire.
3.Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4.Minimum (2) years performing echocardiography procedures within an acute care hospital setting preferred.
5.Minimum (2) years in lead position preferred.
6.Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $36.72 to $48.52. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
