About Us:

Tel-Tec Security Systems, Inc. & Tel-Tec Monitoring is a trusted leader in security solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our Controller in daily accounting tasks and ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new customers and manage site information in Mastermind software.

• Create and maintain monitoring and recurring contracts.

• Process installation job tickets, invoices, and statements.

• Monitor accounts receivable, credit checks, and collections.

• Handle customer billing inquiries and process payments via ACH or credit card.

• Reconcile key customer billing plans and maintain invoicing databases.

• Track accounts sent to collections and monitor for fraud.

• Authorize checks via positive pay in Citizens Bank.

• Order office supplies and assist with insurance certificates and credit applications.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: High school diploma with formal training in office procedures and accounting data entry.

• Preferred: Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• Required: 3+ years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Mastermind preferred).

• Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with accuracy and confidentiality.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Office-based position requiring sitting, standing, and occasional bending.

• Must be able to use a computer and telephone effectively.

• Requires basic mathematical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Accuracy in accounts receivable processing and record-keeping.
