Staff Accountant x 75K - 90K + bonus x Westside POST NUMBER: 466828
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Must have experience working in manufacturing, consumer products, or related field with inventory
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and inventory-related transactions
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, with a focus on inventory, cost of goods sold, and related reserves
- Support inventory accounting activities, including inventory roll-forwards, cycle counts, physical counts, and reconciliation of variances
- Analyze inventory and COGS fluctuations; investigate and explain variances
- Maintain accurate fixed asset and prepaid schedules, as applicable
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports and audit support schedules
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting
- Support process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures and controls
