Operations Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations for a fast-paced automotive wholesale distribution center in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader who understands inventory control, order fulfillment, receiving, safety, staff accountability, and the pace of wholesale distribution. The Operations Manager will play a key role in improving warehouse efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory flow, supporting customer order fulfillment, and building a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily warehouse operations, including workflow, staffing, productivity, receiving, inventory control, pick/pack, order pulling, Will Call, and drop-ship activity.- Lead, schedule, train, coach, and hold warehouse employees accountable for safety, accuracy, attendance, productivity, and performance standards.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, bin location management, material flow, receiving of incoming containers, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.
- Enforce warehouse safety protocols, OSHA and company safety standards, forklift procedures, and proper equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate warehouse maintenance, repairs, layout changes, equipment needs, and future expansion projects to improve space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Partner with purchasing, sales, and other internal teams to support accurate inventory availability and timely customer order fulfillment. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $75,000 to $125,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations for a wholesale distribution center.- Lead warehouse teams across receiving, picking, pulling, inventory, Will Call, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, bin locations, warehouse workflow, and safety compliance.
- Support warehouse maintenance, equipment readiness, layout improvements, and expansion planning. - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of warehouse operations management experience required, preferably in wholesale distribution.
- Proven experience managing warehouse employees, schedules, productivity, safety standards, and performance expectations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving, order fulfillment, bin management, warehouse safety, and material flow.
- Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, inventory systems, or similar warehouse technology.
- Knowledge of forklift operations, pallet jacks, shelving systems, and general material-handling equipment.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, problem-solving, and accountability skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in a busy warehouse environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable enforcing safety standards and coaching team members to meet accuracy and productivity goals. Preferred Qualifications - Automotive parts, automotive distribution, or automotive wholesale experience strongly preferred.
- Current forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to train or certify warehouse employees on forklift operation preferred.
- Experience supporting warehouse layout improvements, equipment planning, maintenance coordination, or facility expansion projects preferred.
