Job Coach Cal Trans

Welcome to NCI Affiliates, a respected non-profit organization dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities through a variety of supportive programs. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Job Coach to join our team. This role involves executing a contract with Cal Trans to provide supported employment and job training to individuals in our programs. This is a Part Time Position, 2 or 3 days per week. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm with paid lunch and overtime pay for time worked over eight hours/day.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support to individuals participating in the Supported Employment Program.
• Ensure the long-term success and enhance the work training experience of the individuals served.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment.
• Represent NCI Affiliates in interactions with employers and community partners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults is preferred.
• Janitorial experience is preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
• Driving is an essential function of this position.
• Provide ongoing proof of current state-required auto insurance.
• Basic computer and technology skills are required.
• A high school education or equivalent is required.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to make sound decisions are essential.

Compensation

The position starts at $23.50/hour . Pay range is $23.50 to $25.50 DOE. Must be available on weekends and holidays; two or more days per week from 8 am to 5 pm with paid lunches and overtime after 8 hours/day. $250 Sign-on Bonus (split after 90 and 180 days of employment)
