Labor Compliance Analyst
Job Description and Duties
Under direction of the Labor Compliance Manager, a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst is responsible for development and implementation of statewide contract and labor compliance programs. Duties include, performing audits and investigations, reviewing violation cases for legal sufficiency and adherence to due process requirements and updating and maintaining manual and guides. The incumbent will also develop and write procedures and analyze and recommend solutions to labor compliance and construction related issues. Other responsibilities include providing accurate and timely guidance on Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE), Small Business (SB), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), American Disability Act (ADA), and subcontractor substitution and prompt payment practices and issues in the construction program.

Working Conditions
Position located at 1120 N St., Sacramento, Sacramento County.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. When in the office the employee will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial lightning. Employee will be required to travel to conduct or attend training and perform audits and investigations. This position is eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans’ current telework policy. While Caltrans supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate may be required to conduct business travel on behalf of the Department or commute to the headquarted location. Business travel reimbursements considers an employee's designated Headquarters location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations and applicable bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the headquarted location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.Special Requirements
