Speech Language Pathologist — Travel assignment in Alameda, California. Start date May 18, 2026. Duration 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 35 per week. Shift 08:00–16:30. Setting: skilled nursing facility. - Setting: skilled nursing facility Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing speech-language pathology evaluations for residents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and adjust goals as needed
- Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans in resident records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social services) to coordinate care and transitions
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, strategies, and caregiver training Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred or eligible
- Experience with adult and geriatric populations; prior skilled nursing/long-term care exposure preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Alameda, CA and adhere to the stated shift schedule
- Eligibility to work in the United States for travel assignments Benefits and Support
