Land Surveyor / Party Chief

What Youll Do:

• Lead and perform field surveys, including boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
• Conduct construction staking and draft records of survey and corner records
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Operate total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors with proficiency
• Manage field-to-office data, including downloads and documentation
• Drive to job sites across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas
• Set up equipment, clear brush, and place survey markers

Qualifications:

What Were Looking For:

• Licensed California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred, or experienced Crew Chief with immediate interest in licensure
• Prior field survey experience required; formal surveying education is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of field procedures, data collection, and survey drafting
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, traverse rugged terrain, and work in varying weather conditions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
