Product Manager, Digital

The World Surf League connects millions of fans across the globe to live competition and surf related content through our own and operated website and apps. We are looking for a highly motivated, self directed Digital Product Manager to play an integral role in shaping the fan experience. In this position, you will represent your customers in building both the external facing features and the tools to manage them. You will establish relationships with internal teams as well as vendors to deliver high quality live and non-live experiences for our fans. This position will be an individual contributor reporting directly to the Vice-President of Product Strategy.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Work to understand the needs of our customers through interviews, surveys, competitive analyses, site metrics, and third party research.


• Develop business cases for product initiatives, via briefs, PRDs, wireframes, and financial models.


• Forecasting, audience identification, and go to market planning for features and products.


• Work with internal and external teams to turn business goals into actionable product plans including collaboration around resource management and operations.


• Manage internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver quality products in a timely fashion.


• Drive adoption of new features, evangelizing the benefits to both external and internal users through documentation, internal training, and product marketing collateral.


• Participate in live operations during surf events, ensuring delivery of a superior digital experience to fans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical or business field.


• 3+ years of product management experience for a consumer facing website, over-the-top applications or mobile apps.


• Familiar with agile software development methodologies and content publishing tools.


• Ability to lead a project to completion with minimal guidance.


• Strong verbal and communication skills with the ability to solve problems and drive results with cross-functional teams


• Passion for sports, especially surfing, is preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000.00- $125,000 based on relevant experience
