SBRS Skip Trace Specialist

:

In this key role the Skip Specialist is to skip / locate debtor and collateral. This position will work as the liaison between the clients (lien holder), and our in-house recovery team.

Duties:

• The Skip Tracer is responsible for using database tools to locate and verify a consumer's where abouts, and or location of their vehicle.
• Taking inbound and outbound calls from Debtors, Clients, Agents, & Internal Staff.
• Perform collection skip-tracing activities in accordance with FDCPA, state and local collection laws.
• Follows up each lead and documents results on approved collection software programs and relays necessary findings to all appropriate parties.
• Documents account specifics to ensure factual data is labeled to each specific account while matched 100% to recorded calls while adhering to each client's specific guidelines.
• Partake in a constant continuation of professionalism, respect, and dignity to all employees of the organization while providing compassion and empathy.
• Personally accountable for adhering to compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations per all client and company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as needed to ensure maximum efforts are made for the client and the firm.
• Report directly to Skip Manager, and Director of Recovery.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college level courses in Business Administration preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of skip trace / collection experience.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a contributing team member
• Professional interaction with internal employees.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, applies best practices to required tasks, organize work and set priorities with a sense of urgency and importance.
• Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion and good judgment to respond to all requests in a professional and courteous manner
• Solid PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and user level application
• Proficient in skip trace software, ie: Accurint, Tracers, iDicore, and Windows software
