Senior Product Manager - Experimentation Platform

StubHub is seeing a Senior Product Manager that will be a key part in shaping the future of our experimentation platform. You’ll work on building reliable, scalable systems that make it easy for product teams to design, run, and analyze experiments with confidence. From creating intuitive user experiences to advancing statistical methods under the hood, your work will directly influence how the entire organization learns and makes decisions.

You’ll collaborate across StubHub to solve complex technical challenges and turn them into simple, impactful solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and product, enjoys working across disciplines, and is motivated by driving measurable business outcomes.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA

About the Team:
The Experimentation Platform team is a cross-functional group of engineers, data scientists, and product leaders dedicated to building a world-class experimentation platform. Our mission is to empower teams across the company to make smarter, data-informed decisions by enabling rapid, reliable, and scalable testing. We partner closely with product, design, and analytics teams to uncover insights, validate ideas, and drive measurable impact.

You’ll be hands-on in building and evolving StubHub’s experimentation platform, working closely with engineers and data scientists to deliver reliable, scalable tools that empower teams to test, learn, and make better decisions. We value curiosity, collaboration, and rigor. Whether it’s designing intuitive tools for experiment setup, ensuring statistical correctness at scale, or advancing methodologies in causal inference, we approach every challenge with both creativity and precision. What You'll Do:


  • Strategic Product Ownership: Take charge of the experimentation platform, and broadly how experimentation strategy is applied across teams.

  • Collaborative Team Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and data scientists, fostering an company wide environment centered around robust experimentation and data driven decisioning.

  • Innovative Ideation: Encourage creative and innovative feature ideation within the team, stimulating participation from all members.

  • Strategic Roadmaps: Develop roadmaps that balance short-term optimization with long-term strategic bets and investments.

  • Prioritization Frameworks: Create frameworks to prioritize features based on estimations of business value and complexity.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and communicate with senior executives and product leadership across all domains.

  • Data Analysis Leadership: Analyze available data, draw sound inferences to answer questions, and support decision-making.

  • Technical Mastery: Develop fluency in the underlying methodologies, architecture, codebase, and technologies of the Experimentation platform.

What You've Done:


  • Experience: 6+ years in product management in consumer web or mobile (native) products with a focus on experimentation. Direct experience developing experimentation platforms preferred.

  • Collaboration Skills: Proven collaboration with engineers and designers across the company.

  • Organizational Skills: Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Analytical Aptitude: Use of analytics to support decision-making.

  • Communication Excellence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to diverse non-technical audiences.

  • Education: BS or MS in STEM, Economics, Psychology, or equivalent preferred.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

Salary Range

$175,000—$270,000 USD
