Staff Software Engineer, Integrations

Ridgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management – the single source of truth with data integrated in real-time across the front, middle, and back office. We are the hub of operations for investment management firms, which necessitates instantaneous delivery of complex data and integrations across ancillary services that allow investment managers to get their jobs done.
The Ridgeline Packaged Integrations team creates standardized integrations for customers, connecting with a wide variety of vendors. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead integration design and build high-quality solutions hands-on. You’ll help grow partnerships with our stakeholders, mentor other team members, and play an important role in the team’s success. What will you do?
- Serve as the Packaged Integration team’s technical lead
- Build robust and resilient integrations to support a wide range of business needs
- Partner closely with customer experience, product, and engineering teammates
- Engage in the entire development process, from requirements and design reviews through implementation and testing
- Evolve our deployment pipeline for integrations and the components that support them
- Coach and mentor fellow engineers to deliver high quality integrations
- Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
- Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years in a software engineering position with a history of designing and building integrations
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
- Deep experience with one or more of the following: Python, Java, C#, C++, Kotlin
- Experience with low code Integration-Platform-as-a-Service (Workato, Workday Studio, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar)
- Experience building cloud native applications on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
- Understand the value of automated testing at all levels
- Hands-on experience using REST APIs and other web services
- Expert at performing ETL functions using data schemas, data transformations, and different data formats including json, xml, and csv
- Aptitude for quickly learning about new technologies and developing expertise in a business domain / problem space
- Ability to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a big-picture long term perspective
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Exemplary verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Serious interest in having fun at work

Compensation and Benefits

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
The typical starting salary range for this role is: $174,500-$205,000.
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $185,000-$220,000.
Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
