Home Health RN Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Location: Irvine, CA 92612 – Orange County
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health / Homecare
• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 29, 2025 – December 28, 2025)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 (Up to 6 patient visits per day; 30 productivity points standard)
• Travel Radius: Occasional maximum radius of 50+ miles; efficient client grouping minimizes drive time
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2400 - $2460 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent skilled Home Health nursing experience (within the last 3 years)
• Proficiency with OASIS documentation for start of care
• BLS certification required
• Reliable personal transportation

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and complete start of care using OASIS
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and home safety practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all nursing care provided
